The activities start at 3 p.m. and won't end until 1 a.m. the following morning.

The 2016 edition offers more than 150 sports activities organised by youth clubs, associations, sports clubs, relay houses and communal services. The various activities are each supervised by qualified persons. In each of the participating localities, the Sports Night takes place in one or more central locations, bringing together different attractions inside or under the open sky.

Apart from the classic sports, the activities at the Sports Night are characterised mainly by their originality. These are disciplines, unusual or little known ones, which have been adapted for the occasion:

Thus, participants will be able to participate in Piloxing Knockout or in bobbycar races in Koerich. In Lultzhausen, you take to the water in a canoe, kayak or sailboat. Dance Salsa or exert yourself in Darts in Steinfort! A Mondercange the town square will host a range of activities from archery to Inownhill and Karate. In Grevenmacher, the Sports and Cultural Centre will host a range of activities, from Taekwondo, through Happy Tennis and Zumba to soccer.

Registration Not necessary!

Participation at the Night of Sports is free and requires no prior registration, except for certain activities requiring special supervision (e.g. triathlon). Apart from clothing adapted to the physical activities (light clothing, trainers, swimsuit, ...) participants do not need any special equipment.

In every participating municipality, the Night of Sports takes place in central venues, which feature different activities. For details about the activities, schedules and entertainment, please visit www.nuitdusport.lu.
