NIGHT OF CULTURE: BLAST FURNACES

The 'Night of Culture' involves the whole town of Esch-sur-Alzette - you can visit the Belval blast furnace for free up to midnight, and take in artistic performances in this emblematic place, marked by its industrial past and by contemporary design.

Various associations involved in special needs will be manning information stands and offering demonstrations and workshops on the Place d’Armes: demonstrations of Rahna assistance dogs, multi-handisports, boccia, cycle-dancing, handbiking, Luxrollers, trikes, capoeira, music by Jean Ziata, and much more.

VISIT THE MEDITERRANEAN GARDEN

The Mediterranean garden in Schwebsange is a private garden designed and maintained for the past thirty years by C. Roovers and D. Lingen. Covering 1,500 square metres, the garden is currently home to about a thousand different species and varieties. The garden showcases Mediterranean species and other species from subtropical and tropical areas of the world.
