TalentLAB is back

TalentLAB#17 takes place from 9 to 18 June in the theatres of the city of Luxembourg.

08-talentlabAfter a successful run last year, the TalentLAB opens its gates once more to the second edition of this event dedicated to showcasing emerging artistic talents. This 10 day long laboratory allows young talents to develop their projects with the help of experts from the creative sector.

This year's TalentLAB#17 takes place from 9 to 18 June in different locations in the capital. The programme is brimming with dance, theatre, workshops, masterclasses, spectacles and discussions.

Cultural exchanges and training

While the first edition had been organised with theatre in mind – having by the way been a huge success with some twenty projects presented – the 2017 edition unites under one header project holders from theatre, dance and opera backgrounds.

Launched on the initiative of the Luxembourg City theatres, the Théâtre du Centaure is partner for all theatre projects, while the Trois C-L accompanies dance projects. The 'opera' laboratory is organised in partnership with the énoa network, of which the Luxembourg City theatres are members.

For this second edition, training will be a major topic. On the occasion of the round-table on 13 June, discussions will be about training in the context of the professionalisation of the cultural sector, in Luxembourg as well as in the relationships with international schools.
