Education and training

The Foire de l'étudiant (Student Fair) joins the digital era

With its slogan 'go digital', the 31st edition has a focus on training for web professions.

09-foiredeletudiant_cropThe 31st edition of the Student Fair will be held at Luxexpo The Box in Kirchberg on 9 and 10 November. The unique aspect of this new edition is the introduction of a platform dedicated to all things digital, to the professions most in demand and specific courses related to this field. As in previous years, all the other sectors will be represented during these two days across the two exhibition halls.

A major event

The Student Fair is an unmissable event for all young people wanting to pursue higher education studies. Whether in order to obtain specific information about grant applications or about certain professions, to find out how to register with the institution of your choice, or simply to obtain career advice, the 250 exhibitors, representing universities and other higher education establishments from the four corners of the globe, are best placed to answer all your questions.

Improving the dissemination of information

In order to stick with the digital theme, visitors have the option, other than accessing the different stands, to consult information signs with the QR codes of different publications, listed according to very specific fields. They can all be downloaded, and were published online by CEDIES - Centre de Documentation et d'information sur l'Enseignment supérieur (Higher Education Information and Documentation Centre). These signs are particularly useful if the wait is too long to visit the stand of your choice.

Consistently popular

The Student Fair has constantly evolved since it was first held in 1987. Last year it hosted over 250 exhibitors from over twenty different countries and attracted more than 9,000 visitors. It has become the key event in terms of information on higher education in the Greater Region and is a great showcase for the many universities, schools and embassies represented.
