In recent years, the offer and infrastructure of public transport for people with reduced mobility has been constantly improved.
Luxembourg's national railway company (Société nationale des chemins de fer luxembourgeois, CFL), in cooperation with the various authorities, does its utmost to ensure easy access to the public transport system by taking the needs of people with reduced mobility into account. Find more information about persons with reduced mobility on the CFL site!
Many efforts are undertaken to make railway stations and halts accessible, as well as trains and buses.
Infirm and disabled people can use Adapto, a door-to-door taxi bus for travel anywhere within the Grand Duchy between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. on weekdays and between 7 a.m. and midnight at the weekend.
The Luxembourg City authorities also provide Rollibus, a door-to-door taxi bus within the City (or any other municipality with which it has an agreement) for physically disabled people who need to use a wheelchair.
